Munchies Cafe | Our Story

Our story at Munchies Cafe began with my parents, who owned the café in the late 1990s. For our family, Munchies became more than a restaurant. It became a part of our lives, a place whose name would connect one generation to the next. In 2003, when my parents announced their retirement, my wife and I began our own chapter at Munchies. Taking the reins meant honoring what came before us while discovering what we could build together. Since then, our story as a couple has become intertwined with the story of the café. Through the everyday work of running a restaurant, we have continued shaping a place where home-style Latin food and a warm welcome belong together. Today, Munchies carries both chapters: the one my parents began and the one my wife and I continue to write. Every guest who joins us becomes a small part of that ongoing family story.
